Add tags to your digital images

iTag is an amazing, free program only available for Windows, being part of the category Design & photography software.

More about iTag

iTag is a program that takes up less storage space than the average program in the category Design & photography software. It's a program often downloaded in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal.

Since the program was added to our catalog in 2007, it has already achieved 27,132 downloads, and last week it had 21 installations.

It's available for users with the operating system Windows 98 and prior versions, and you can download it in different languages such as English, Spanish, and German. The current version of the program is 388 and the latest update happened on 3/26/2009.

iTag is a freeware application that allows you to add title, description and keyword tags to your digital jpeg photos. The data you enter is added to the photo file itself using IPTC headers. Many useful applications can read and write to these fields, and iTag is especially powerful at editing a batch of photos all at once.

Geocoding your photos is also straight forward by drag and dropping Google Earth placemarks (*.kml, *.kmz). An even faster way is to simply copy a placemark to the clipboard, which iTag can detect. When geocoding, the data can optionally be saved as IPTC tags (FlickrFly style), to the EXIF fields, or both.

Photos geocoded with WWMX Location Stamper are also recognised and can be viewed in Google Earth. Using iTag, groups of geotagged photos can be viewed in Google Earth by generating a kmz file.

    Good but bit heavy.
iTag is very nice tagger. You can tag several pictures at once just by selecting them. Most used keywords show up on a list where you can easily choose them. Don't forget so save after tagging. One thing I HATE about iTag is  More
